It's a one-minute song

...and I voted five anyway, since I liked the main riff.

After that... erm... it kinda went downhill. The piano lacked reverb, and there's no... order.

Now, if what you intended to portray is the life cycle of a computer (cool at first, sucks later on -- 1 minute = 1 computer year; when it hits the pits, replace with a new one), then you did a great job, for as long as the audience understood your piece. (Of course, this is a wild assumption.)

Had fun, by the way. ^_^

adompeace responds:

I wasn't trying to display the life cycle of a computer. Nice assumption though.

I think...

...that you displayed a lot of technical knowledge here. There's a ton of effects in this track, and I can tell that a lot of time and effort has been put into this track.

Bad part is, though again I state that it is technically superior, that there's something missing from the song. You may not agree with me, though. I just don't feel connected to it, nor was I excited.

Five and nine for you. Good luck with the MAC! ^_^

ArisingFlame responds:

Yeah, It's not quite there. But I'm glad you liked it!
And thanks, I need the luck. =D

Sounds good, but...

...if this is to break out into mainstream radio, it needs a catch phrase... something catchy to keep it in people's heads even after listening to it once or twice. That's the only thing missing in here.

Technically, it's a pro work, so no probs here.

Overall sound is good, but common. Yes, it can blend in the airwaves, but it might not rise to the surface.

Hope this helps Southcott. More power to you! ^_^

starvingdude responds:

I think SOuthcott wouldn't use this one to get on the Radio, but I shall tell Southcott about the catch-phrase thing.

Maybe common, but most common bands (Fall Out Boy, MCR etc...) get somewhere hehe.

Hahahahaha!!!

Okay, I'll throw away the technical sound crap reviews I usually give. I had fun. :-)

Five and ten! ^_^

Zakimations responds:

haha werd.

I agree with you

You CAN put this in a game menu. ^_^

DJSOS202 responds:

Yup Thats What I Intended to Do :D

Found the wah effect a bit on the overkill side, though. Other than that, nice job! ^_^

apple32 responds:

Damn you're good

This song can go for the next 2 hours, and I wouldn't get tired of it.

Perfectly produced... just perfect! 5 and 10. *Bows down*

Metalcan responds:

Thanks a lot! *bows back*

Hmm...

It's not as fun as I expected it to be. Hmm... for starters, try adding compression to your voice to even it out. It will also sort clarity issues.

Oh wait... you did this five years ago. Hmm... hope you still have the tracks for tweaking.

ToyRobotMusic responds:

yeah the original tracks are long gone, but i figured it'd be fun enough to dust off and upload here.

It's a jazzy beat

Other than a nicely put track, these are my thoughts here:

- Prior to the 2 minute mark, I think you overused the panning. I found it annoying, but that's just me.
- There are parts that felt choppy. I'm guessing the panning had something to do with it, or at least it exposed the choppy parts.

^_^

Myheaven-420 responds:

ok cool, well i will keep that in mind with whatever song im making next, thanks for being honest and lettin me know whats up.
